Ocean Eyes (Poem)

Following my humdrum,

Yesterday when I come,

From work to my bus,

With a mind full of fuss.

Bus crowded had no space,

Hence, standing in that case,

I caught a sudden gaze,

Having the skill to amaze.

She was a pretty girl,

Twinkling eyes like a pearl,

Ahh! Those depths of gaze,

Tangled me in their grace.

They had tales to tell,

Magical eyes cast a spell,

With every blink, they unfold,

Several secrets, yet untold.

Like oceans, vast they were,

Likes stars, they hold glimmers,

Hard and firm as a rock,

I stood the shore for a long.

That pure sight and falling lashes,

Calmed my all burning ashes,

Still thinking their spark,

Under the sky in dark.

I passed my day enthralled,

Praising the Creator she belonged,

In that gleam, I found my way,

Forever lost in that sway.
