A word, if you feel disappointed in yourself (By Ink and Quill)

Disappointed

You weren’t able to make it into your profession. You weren’t there when your parents needed you the most. You failed the test you spent all night long on, without taking even a minute’s rest. You witness your crush moving away from you, and the person they like is far prettier and far handsomer than you could ever be. These things make you doubt yourself, until a point reach as your entire being starts to break. People’s words hurt more than before and life becomes such a burden that you wish you had died before the disappointed knocked.

It seems like it wasn’t your fault, rather fate suddenly started making more sense in that moment, and you find yourself entrapped in its intricate web like a moth.

‘If only, I could turn back time, and relive this moment to make it alright.’ Your heart tells your brain.

‘But, it’s a vein hope now.’ The brain replies. ‘Let’s move on, and leave this bitter past behind.'

Some believe, there will come a day when they’ll be judged for all the blunders they have caused, others repent again and again. Still, others don’t believe they have to be answerable to anyone, so no need to care for the eternal disappointed they keep feeling in their hearts.

Do you know, Oppenheimer messed up big time when he realized what exactly he had created? His tried amending his misgivings, but what was the point when his own devilish creation stood right there, mocking him for his blunder. He felt great disappointed for his lack of power to make it right.

Let’s understand one thing here. Sometimes, you mess up really bad, and no matter how much you try, the disappointed persists, and so does the messed up situation. In some cases, there are no second chances, otherwise, the doctors might’ve saved their patient, if they have messed up the first time. You need to move on with the feeling of yourself being the one to be blamed, because its true.

You are unable to succeed because you lacked what others had. At the same time, you get what they don’t. Have you looked at what’s in your own hand right now?

Tu Youyou was a woman without doctorate in medical field, who received a Nobel prize for her breakthrough achievement in investing malaria. Her lack of professional acceptance in medical university never stopped her to get a Nobel prize, then what is stopping you after you failed your test for your degree?

If your crush went the other way, you do the same. They don’t deserve you, and whoever does, will come to you if you believe in fate. If you don’t, remember that there are around eight billion people in this world, and you are grieving on someone among that number. There are billions better than that person. Start over again, and fall in love with someone or something worth your time, not a person you can never keep. It will do them a favor as well.

Lastly, I would like you to join our hands with our team by sharing your beautiful story and giving hopes to those who doesn’t have a voice. They need your advice, and we are here to give them a platform to find it.
